Summary of the "Don't Start" Program:

To educate young children not to start cigarette smoking using a variety of educational tools.

This program instructs young people on the dangers of cigarette smoking using our “DON’T START” Program.   This program falls under our umbrella program of “Out It Out”.   At the end of program each participant will develop his/her own Smoker’s Anonymous Creed which will be discussed and merged into one Smokers Anonymous Creed for Young People. Professionals involved in the reducing cigarette smoking will instruct the youth. At the end of the program this Creed will be analyzed and discussed with the participants.  It will then be refined, printed and distributed throughout the country to the churches, schools, and community centers specifically geared toward the youth in preventing them from ever starting the habit of smoking.
